Negroni Week Presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari
Negroni Week launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world. From 2013 to 2014, Negroni Week grew from more than 100 participating venues to more than 1,300 participating venues around the world and more than $120,000 raised for charities. In 2015, more than 3,500 venues around the world mixed their favorite Negroni variations and raised over $320,000 for charitable causes.
This year Negroni Week will take place from June 6th-12th, and we at Beef & Barley are happy to be a part of it. We are featuring our House Draft Negroni, made with Koval Dry Gin, Campari, and Punt e Mes.
For every Negroni we sell between June 6th and June 12th, Beef & Barley will donate $2.00 of the sale to our chosen charity The MaeBell Ward Foundation. Founded in 2011, the foundation aims to raise awareness of Alzheimer's, and helps to raise funds for research into finding a cure for this horrible disease.
At the conclusion of Negroni Week, Campari will also make a $10,000 donation to the chosen charity of the bar that raises the most money. Any additional donations will be gladly accepted on behalf of The MaeBell Ward foundation. If you're going to drink, it might as well be for a good cause, so come by Beef & Barley between June 6th and June 12th and order yourself a Negroni.
